ऐ सुन्दर चिड़िकेँ देखू जे कचार हिल्सपर रहैए आ ऐपर एकटा हाइकू लिखू। (चित्र: सौजन्य श्री कैलाश कुमार मिश्र)
· · · Edit
- Gajendra Thakur jyotiji, pahil 5 akshar/ muda dosar 9 aa tesar 7 akshar bhay gel achhi/ maithili me akshar (varna) aa syllable me tartamya chhai. tesar paanti ke beech me day sakai chhi, aa tesar 5 aksharak banau
- Jyoti Suneet thanks Gajendraji, but in English syllable doesn't mean letters but the breaks in pronunciation, similarly in hindi too one akshar or sanyuktakhar should n't make one syllable, it depends on sound, this is my opinion
- Gajendra Thakur Jyotiji, In Samskrit Metres with seventeen syllables are; Shikharani, Prithvi, Vamshapatrapatitam, Mandakranta, Harini, Nardattakam, Kokilakam, Haarini and Bharakranta; all are varnik Chhandas having exactly 17 varna/ akshara (17 syllables in each pada); therefore for Maithili also I have taken 17 varna/ akshara for 17 syllables. Regards
